SuperMomma Doula Services

I offer a basic Prepared Childbirth Education class along with doula services.  Providing you with information on pregnancy, childbirth, labour and delivery,  breastfeeding, and continuous support before, during, and after birth.  I am ready on call 24/7 until baby arrives.  If in the unlikely event that I cannot attend your birth, a wonderful, fitting back up doula will be there to assist you through your labour.

During labour and delivery I am by your side as soon as needed.  I can meet at your home, or at hospital.  I am there to grab you water, walk the halls, rub your back, suggest various labouring/birthing positions; anything to make your experience better.

Along with aiding your comfort during labour, I take notes on progression and pictures for your unique birth story, a memorable keep sake for you and your child. 

I offer a free no obligation consultation to answer your questions, and listen to your concerns regarding your pregnancy and birth.  This is your interview!

If you choose me as your doula, we will set up our next prenatal sessions.  The first is for contract signing, fee explanations, birth philosophies, and any other duties you would like of me.  The others are for practicing birthing positions, coping strategies, pain management, etc. During these visits, you can ask questions. I am open to discuss many aspects of pregnancy, birth, and breast feeding.  If  I do not know the answer, I will do my best to find out, or point you in the right direction! 

I am here to answer any questions you have at any time during pregnancy.  I can be reached via email or phone.  Remember no question is a stupid question. 

Call me any time you suspect you're in labour.  I will be there when you want me til birth, and remain after delivery to make sure you are comfortable, and baby is breastfeeding well if you chose to do so.

After the birth, we schedule one more visit.  This is for us to discuss your birth experience, answer any other questions you may have, and present you with your birth story!

I work under the DONA vision "A Doula for every woman who wants one".  Price is negotiable.  If I am not able to suit your needs, I can offer assistance in finding a doula who can.

I also offer a personalized Prepared Childbirth Education course.  This is an optional supplement to regular doula services.  It is an additional 2 to 4 prenatal visits, an additional postnatal visit depending on your needs and time alloted. For the first time parents, I do basic baby care as well. Please contact me if you would like further information. 

I am based in Spruce Grove, Alberta and am serving the greater Edmonton area, including Devon, Leduc, Sherwood Park, Stony Plain . . . . I am also willing to travel up to 2 hours from my home base, rates will vary depending on travel.
